Phony Ppl is a young group, but their music hints at a bunch of kids who are wise beyond their years. The crew of Brooklyn musicians, rappers, singers, and producers has their own eclectic sound that borrows from jazz, hip-hop, R&B, funk, soul, rock, and pretty much any other genre that they can get out of their instruments. I just planned on skimming through a couple tracks of this album to see if I wanted to give it a full listen later and I ended up just listening to the whole album right now. Its really good.
